Chats on specific topics are called conversations in Klubraum. Similar to an email conversation with a specific subject or a forum post in an internet forum. For each Klubraum conversation you start, you can optionally set a subject.
Through your timeline, you have the option to start a new conversation and create new events.
How do I send and read a message?
To create a conversation, you can either click on the pink button at the bottom right of your timeline and then select the message icon. Or you can simply click on the Conversations item in the bottom navigation bar and then create a message using the pink button at the bottom right.
You can address the message itself to individual members, Areas, or to all members using the top field. You also have the option to give your message a subject to make everything more organized.
You can attach images, documents, and your location to your message. To send it, you need to click on the pink arrow at the top right.
If you have subscribed to a conversation (e.g., because you have already participated in it), you will receive a notification for new messages. In addition, new messages also appear in the timeline regardless of your subscriptions, whether they are privately addressed to you or taking place in an Area where you are a member.
Tip: As a reaction to a message, you can like it.
Who can change the subject of a conversation?
Generally, the person who started a conversation can change the subject. Additionally, all administrators of your Klubraum can change the subject - as long as it is not a private conversation.
To change the subject, you need to press the 3 dots next to the bell in the conversation and then click on Change Subject.
