Permissions
Not everyone in a Klubraum can do everything. What you are allowed to do depends on two things: your role in the club — member, area admin or administrator — and your relation to the entry you are looking at, for example whether you created an event or are responsible for it. The tables below show both.
Two things are worth knowing before you read on. Private areas, private events and private conversations are closed to administrators — only the people involved have access there. And a few actions are not limited by your role at all but by your plan; those carry a Plus or Pro badge.

In a private area only its members can see the content. As an administrator you can join any private area yourself — everyone involved sees that you did.
After a change to area rights or area privacy it can take a few minutes before everyone sees the effect.

In a private event only the creator and the responsible people can change anything — admins have no access. Invited people see the event and accept or decline for themselves, but they cannot edit, move or delete it.
If an action is greyed out, it is not always about permissions: some features are only included in the Plus or Pro plan.

In a private conversation your role in the club counts for nothing: only the person who started it can change the subject, lock it or delete it. Admins have no access.
Nobody can delete someone else's message — not the person who started the conversation, and not an admin. Report a message that breaks the rules and the Klubraum team will take care of it.
A locked conversation is frozen: no new messages, no edits, no reactions and no changes to who is in it. Only unlocking it and archiving it for yourself still work.

As long as a survey is a draft or scheduled, only its creator and collaborators can see or touch it. Admins get no rights at all until it is published.
In a private survey only the creator and the collaborators ever have rights. Admins have none, at any point.
Who sees the results is not a role question. Every survey carries its own settings for results, answers and who answered. While a survey is a draft or scheduled, the results stay hidden from everyone.

Carpooling needs no admin rights: anyone who can see the event can offer a ride or book a seat. It is included in every plan.

The timeline is a read-only activity feed that shows what is happening in your club. You cannot post, comment or react there — that is what conversations are for.
How far back the timeline reaches depends on your plan, not on your role. Everyone in the club sees the same period.

Location Sharing shows on a map where members are right now — it is not a video meeting. Sharing is always voluntary, and you only ever share your own location.
Only you can start or stop sharing your location. Nobody else can do it for you, not even a club admin.
Shared locations are deleted automatically after 24 hours, and you can delete your last location yourself at any time.

A role is a label on a member's profile, for example "Coach" or "Treasurer". It does not grant any extra rights yet. More detailed rights management is in the works.
